Monte began his law enforcement career as a deputy with the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office and worked his way up to being the Sheriff.
Along the way, Sheriff Belew worked as a police officer and school resource officer for the Jackson Tn. Police Department. Following his tenure at JPD he became a Trooper with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, serving in the Jackson District.
